About This Past Tuesday (06/27/2023)
Dear Friend,
What an exciting primary!
HCN congratulates our clients who have been champions for their communities and worked hard to earn every vote. Their contributions to their communities have made a lasting difference and we look forward to what lies ahead for them and those they serve.
This primary, we were lead consultants to two successful incumbent re-election campaigns in New York City and one HER-storic mayoral campaign in New Rochelle.
Our friends, Councilwoman Lynn Schulman, who ran in the redistricted District 29 in the New York City Council representing Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Rego Park, Richmond Hill, and Councilwoman Carmen De La Rosa, who ran in the redistricted District 10 representing Washington Heights, Inwood, Marble Hill, resoundingly won their respective Democratic primaries. (54% & 85% respectively)
And, a heartfelt felicidades to New Rochelle Councilwoman Yadira Ramos Herbert who won a decisive and her-storic victory in the highly contested race to become the Democratic nominee for mayor. Her inspiring candidacy and landslide win (63%) puts her in a strong position to become the first woman, person of color, and Afro-Latina to serve as Mayor for New York State’s seventh largest city.
As we celebrate those on the ballot Tuesday and our Hamilton team’s hard work and determination, we look forward to the work to be done for November, as we continue efforts to elect leaders who reflect our democratic values.
Siempre,
The Hamilton Campaign Network
